The Pomegranate is a lovely little deciduous tree for warm areas that provides flowers, fruit and Fall color. It does have some spines, so one must be careful when pruning. It takes pruning well, and can be grown with multiple or single trunks. Fruits ripen in late Summer to early Fall.
